Jesus Didn't Ask For Volunteers

There's a difference between showing up and being all in. A volunteer serves when it's convenient and quits when it costs too much. But Jesus didn't call volunteers — He called disciples. Men who would deny themselves, pick up their cross, and follow. Our wives don't need a husband who volunteers when he feels like it. Our kids don't need a dad who's present only on the easy days. And Jesus doesn't need men who serve Him on their own terms. He's calling for men who are all in — broken, imperfect, and still showing up anyway. That's what it means to be complete.
